We routinely see a variety of different, urgent dental problems in Washington, D.C. patients, including loose fillings, toothaches, and dislodged or broken teeth. Even if you don't feel any pain, it's usually a good idea to have your teeth and jaw checked after suffering a mouth injury. When you need help the most, contact Presidential Dental Group for emergency dental care.
What Can I Expect During My Emergency Dental Visit?
When you arrive at our office, Dr. Brown will carefully evaluate your particular issue before settling on a diagnosis and treatment plan. Our team may take digital x-rays to check for hidden trauma affecting the jawbone or roots of your teeth. The main objective of emergency dentistry at Presidential Dental Group is to lessen any pain you might be experiencing and determine if there are any injuries. We do everything we can to rehabilitate the use, appeal, and general health of your smile as soon as possible. Dr. Brown could also issue a prescription for a pain reliever or an anti-inflammatory if necessary. Depending on the extent of your dental problem, follow-up visits may be scheduled in order to fully address the issue.
Emergency Dental Care Reviews
When I walked into this office I was in the midst of a true dental emergency. A crown had popped off in the front of my mouth. I had visited at least 3 other dentists for implant consultations, but not one helped me. They just said I needed dental care immediately. I had booked with Dr. Brown on Zoc Doc, but I went on a Saturday and was seen by Dr. Hancock. Dr. Hancock is an excellent dentist!!! Not only did she painlessly deal with my tooth (an extraction was needed), but she helped me calm down and didn't judge me. When she saw I was freaking out she told me to focus on one thing at a time so I didn't become overwhelmed. I grew up with my grandparents and both had a full set of dentures. Nonetheless, it's not their fault. I can say I didn't take care of my teeth. I didn't brush and floss. I ate lots of sugary foods and now here I am. I'm going back this weekend for a treatment plan. I know I have a journey in front of me, but I trust Dr. Hancock's skill and I know I can take it one thing at a time. I also love the receptionist and the dental hygienist who work on the Saturdays that I've visited. Both know a lot about dentistry as well, help with billing, and explain everything thoroughly in addition to reminding you of all appointments. This is an excellent practice!! I had several consultations in my home state of NJ and the prices here are much more affordable. I feel like this is the right place for me to begin my journey toward dental health.
